<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring the downstream side of a side guide nearer to a pinch roll and secure even maintenance open operation. <P>SOLUTION: The side guide 101 of a side guide device 100 is constituted of a side guide body 101a and a side guide tip part 101b provided on the downstream side of the side guide body 101a and performing opening-closing operation. When carrying a plate, both side guide tip parts 101b are set in parallel, and the side guide tip parts 101b are approached to the pinch roll, and a winding shape of a steel place can be improved thereby. When opening in maintenance, both side guide tip parts 101b are opened, and the side guide tip parts 101b are avoided in interfering with a pinch roll housing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
