<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut a web of a main girder of a plate girder bridge and install a new construction steel plate floor without traffic regulations.SOLUTION: A base part of a first steel plate floor 5 is arranged on one side face of a web 3 of a main girder 1 in a plate girder bridge so as to straddle a place scheduled to be cut, and both positions of the place scheduled to be cut are joined together by knotted bolts 10 and nuts 11. Next, the web 3 is cut from another side face side into a lower part 3a and an upper end part 3b. A base part of a second steel plate floor 6 is joined to the other side faces of the lower part 3a and the upper end part 3b of the web 3. Thereby, a load acting on the upper end part 3b of the web 3 by an existing floor slab 4 is transmitted to the lower part 3a of the web 3 via the steel plate floors 5, 6, thus continuing support of the load by the web 3. Thereafter, the joining of the upper end part 3b of the web 3 and the steel plate floors 5, 6 is released and then the upper end part 3b of the web 3 is removed together with the existing floor slab 4. Thereby, the steel plate floors 5, 6 can be used as a new road surface receiving a load.</p> |
