<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nonwoven fabric, which produces a superior nonwoven fabric having both of excellent bulkiness and excellent cushioning properties. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the nonwoven fabric comprises: forming a web 62 by using a core-sheath conjugated fiber as a raw material and using a carding machine 3; and heat-treating the web 62 to produce a nonwoven fabric 6. As the core-sheath conjugated fiber that is the raw material, a fiber having a fracture elongation of 100-250% and an elastic modulus of 0.4-0.8 GPa is used. A carding condition of the carding machine 3 is set so that a ratio (S1/S2) of a peripheral velocity (S1) of a main cylinder to a peripheral velocity (S2) of a worker becomes 10-150. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
