<p>An air conditioning apparatus (30) for a passenger vehicle configured so that air sent through an air duct (34) from an main body section of the air conditioning apparatus is blown into the vehicle interior space from an outlet provided on an instrument panel, wherein an airflow direction adjustment mechanism (40) capable of adjusting the direction of air blown from the outlet by changing the shape of an air path (42) connecting the air duct (34) and the outlet is provided between the air blow duct (34) and the outlet. This configuration obviates providing the outlet (32) on the instrument panel (20) with a fin or the like for adjusting the airflow direction, and enables the air outlet (32) to be formed merely by the opening. Consequently, an innovative design for the outlet (32) on the instrument panel (20) is possible.</p> |
