MAINTENANCE METHOD FOR A LIFT

The method involves removing a guide extension element of service platform. The service platform is then provided in a region of a shaft pit (3) of the lift, for subsequent maintenance work. The previously mounted service platform is utilized for installation purposes on a set of car guide rails (31). A shaft wall is served as a working platform for mounting lift components on an operating range limiting structure.
