Disclosed are a medical implant system, components and method, in which one or more deformable elements are provided to provide a seal between the components of the medical implant system. In one aspect, the medical implant system comprises a fixture, an abutment and an abutment screw, and the deformable element is deformed upon tightening the abutment screw. The provision of the one or more seals reduces the risk of infection around the implant site. |
