[Class 132 (ii).] A ring-throwing stick comprises a metal or wooden rod 1 secured to a handle 2, and an arm 3 extending parallel to the rod 1 which acts as a guide and support during the initial part of the movement of the projectile ring 4 when thrown. The ring may be bored centrally or eccentrically and has holes 4<a> or grooves 4b, Fig. 4, therein to facilitate spinning thereof. The holes 4<a> may be eyeletted and the section of the ring may be as shown in Figs. 6 or 7.</p> |
