Disclosed are a method for transmitting real-time broadcasting content and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, a content transmission controlling apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a communications unit transmitting and receiving data to and from a content providing server and a local caching device distributed in a network; a storage unit for including and storing a streaming list which is data relating to at least one piece of streaming content received from the content providing server; and a controlling unit, if a request for the streaming content is received from the local caching device through the communications unit, determining whether the requested streaming content is registered in the streaming list, and, if the requested streaming content is registered in the streaming list, branching the streaming content received from the contents providing server to delay a predetermined time and transmitting the delayed streaming content to the local caching device. |
