The present invention relates to a device (1) for the thermal management of the intake air to an engine (3) equipped with a turbocharger (5), said device comprising: - a first heat exchanger (7) placed in the air intake circuit (9) between the compressor (5a) and the engine (3), - a second heat exchanger (10) placed on the main exhaust line (12) of the engine (3) and collecting the heat energy from the exhaust gases, transferring said energy to a heat transfer fluid circulating through a heating loop (A), the heat transfer fluid inlet (7a) of the first heat exchanger (7) being connected to the heat transfer fluid outlet (10b) of the second heat exchanger (10) and the heat transfer fluid outlet (7b) of the first heat exchanger (7) being connected directly or indirectly to the heat transfer fluid inlet (10a) of the second heat exchanger (10), so as to form the heating loop (A).
