<p>An insulation and sealing system for a shutter type door 1, such as a garage or industrial door, comprises a plurality of door panel elements 2 and a number of insulating and sealing elements. The insulation and seals reduce the heat transfer across the door and minimise air leakage, such as drafts, through the door. The door comprises two side guide elements, an upper guide element, and a lower sealing element. A first insulator element is located between adjacent panels. A second insulator element comprises first and second members and is located between a door panel and a supporting wall. A third insulator element is mounted to each side of each door panel. A fourth insulator element is mounted to an upper surface of the uppermost panel. The fifth insulator element is mounted to a lower surface of the lowermost panel.</p> |
