<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slime suppression method with which slime can be efficiently suppressed by means of an oxidizing sterilizer. <P>SOLUTION: A slime suppression method in which slime in water system for making paper from paper row materials comprises a step of adding an oxidizing sterilizer to adding positions 38 and 43 of the water system and a step of measuring the oxidation reduction potential at measuring position 23 and 34 existing upstream of the adding positions 38 and 43 and adjusting the adding amount of the oxidizing sterilizer based on the measured value. It is preferable that the adding positions 38 and 43 are provided in plural and different from each other and the measuring positions 23 and 34 exist at least upstream of the corresponding adding positions of the plural adding positions 38 and 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
