<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system identification device and an identification method capable of quantitatively identifying a dynamic characteristic change of a plant using a model parameter which is easy to understand for an operator, with a low calculation load which does not influence daily control calculation and without stopping plant operation. <P>SOLUTION: A system identification device comprises; an identification process-driven event detection device 40 detecting an identification process-driven event from a response data storage device 10; a response data cutout device 50 cutting out response data before and after the detected identification process-driven event; a dynamic characteristic change identification device 60 identifying a dynamic characteristic change of a plant based on the cut-out response data; and a dynamic characteristic change detection device 70 determining whether or not the identified dynamic characteristic change amount satisfies a given dynamic characteristic change detection condition, and giving an instruction of display output if the condition is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
