The present invention relates to a switching mode power supply (SMPS) for an outdoor LED which disposes a heat radiation means on an SMPS which controls a condition of power supplied to an LED installed on an outdoor location to prevent damage to a control unit disposed on the SMPS by overheating. The SMPS for an outdoor LED controls a condition of power supplied to a plurality of LEDs to illuminate an outdoor space, and comprises: a body (132); a control unit (134) disposed on an inside of the body (132); and a heat radiation means (136) disposed on the body (132) to radiate heat generated by the control unit (134) to prevent damage to the control unit (134) by the heat. The heat radiation means (136) comprises: a heat absorbing member (1362) disposed on the inside of the body (132) to absorb the heat generated by the control unit (134); and a heat radiation pin (1364) disposed on an outer circumference of the body (132) and tightly mounted on one end of the heat absorbing member (1362) to radiate the heat absorbed by the heat absorbing member (1362) by heat exchange with external air. |
