PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing ATP (adenosine 5'-triphosphate) from AMP (adenosine 5'-monophosphate).SOLUTION: There is provided the method for producing the ATP including a step of reacting polyphosphate kinase 2 type which is a thermophilic bacterium having a specific amino acid sequence with polyphosphoric acid, and the AMP, wherein the polyphosphate kinase 2 type is an enzyme that is a single enzyme allowing the synthesis of the ATP from the AMP. Furthermore. there are provided the polyphosphate kinase and a polynucleotide encoding the same. |
