The present invention relates to an apparatus for keeping gas safety to protect the life and property by keeping gas safety automatically and totally and using IT technologies. The apparatus for keeping gas safety includes an object detecting sensor part which detects whether a user exists around a gas range and a kitchen; a control device part which counts time by driving a timer according to the detection of the object detecting sensor part, generates an alarm control signal when the counted time exceeds one hour which is previously set, and generates a valve control signal when the counted time exceeds two hours which are previously set; an alarm device part which generates an alarm or sound for informing the user of the fact that flames must be turned off and outputs it through a speaker; and an electronic gas valve part which automatically opens and closes a gas supply pipe according to the valve control signal from the control device part. |
