摘要 <p>Provided is a technique in which, in an electric tool, it is possible to accurately and swiftly distinguish between a non-load state and a load state of a motor, suppress noise and vibration during the non-load state, and improve the response of the motor rotation speed when a switch is made from the non-load state to the load state. The electric tool disclosed in the specification of the present invention is provided with: a motor; a tool unit driven by the motor; and a torque estimation means for estimating the load torque acting on the motor from the work via the tool unit. The torque estimation means estimates the load torque reflecting at least the inertial torque corresponding to: the drive torque corresponding to the current flowing through the motor; and the moment of inertia of the motor. The electric tool can be selectively switched between the non-load mode and the load mode according to the load torque estimated by the torque estimation means. In the electric tool, the rotation speed of the motor in the non-load mode is lower than the rotation speed of the motor in the load mode.</p>
