<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner that uniformly heats a wide range alone without using a large-scale mechanical drive device for rotating or vibrating the burner. <P>SOLUTION: The burner for supplies an oxidant stream and a fuel stream for combustion. The oxidant stream includes a primary oxidant stream and a secondary oxidant stream. At least one of fluid jet passages for forming the fuel streams, the primary oxidant stream, and the secondary oxidant stream, is formed to be expanded toward an outlet of the stream. On a sidewall 7, two openings 8, 9 are disposed to face each other.
