<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a cable when not using a power supply adapter. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply adapter 1 has a housing 10 housing a power supply circuit in the inside. The housing 10 includes a recessed part 23 whose outer surface is recessed to the inner side, and an attaching part 33 as a connection part of the housing 10 and a power supply cable 32 arranged on a surface forming the recessed part 23.
