<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinkable rubber composition with long work time, excellent in operability (handleability) and storage stability, having good moldability, and giving a rubber cured product with high hardness and few surface stickiness (tack feeling). <P>SOLUTION: This crosslinkable rubber composition includes as essential components of (A) ethylene-αolefin-non-conjugated polyene random copolymer rubber where the non-conjugated polyene is composed of at least one terminal vinyl group-containing norbornene compound, with viscosity at 23°C at the shear rate of 10s<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>is 10 Pa s or more and less than 1,000 Pa s; (B) an organopolysiloxane having three silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule to the side chain of the divalent siloxane unit represented by formula, but not having silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom at the molecular terminal; (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least three silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom in total at molecular terminal and side chain; (D) a reinforcing filler; (E) a cure reaction catalyst; and (F) a cure reaction retarding agent.
