<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply constitute an abnormality detection device of a battery pack having a plurality of serially connected battery cells without directly detecting voltage values of the respective voltage cells, and to prevent erroneous detection of an internal resistance abnormality. <P>SOLUTION: Detection units 20(1)-20(n) do not directly detect voltage values of battery cells CL(1)-CL(n) constituting a battery pack 10, but output voltage comparison results OD(1)-OD(n) between output voltages of the corresponding battery cells and a predetermined determination voltage. An abnormality monitoring circuit 30 monitors whether or not there is an internal resistance abnormality that internal resistance rises higher than an upper limit value in any of the battery cells CL(1)-CL(n), on the basis of signals from the detection units 20(1)-20(n) and a detection value of current Ib of the battery pack 10 by a current detector 15, when an abnormality detection operation is executed. However, detection of the internal resistance abnormality is prohibited in the case of an operation state with a large ripple of the current Ib according to an operation state of an electric motor included in a load 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
