The present disclosure generally relates to a method for processing an information data indicating that a frame contains samples of at least two distinct packed constituent frames according to a specific frame-packing-arrangement scheme. The method is characterized in that it comprises defining that said information data indicates that one of the at least two distinct packed constituent frames corresponds to an LDR frame and another of the at least two distinct packed constituent frames corresponds to an HDR illumination frame associated with said LDR frame.
