The present invention relates to a heavy oil sludge reduction system for a ship, which reduces sludge containing an impurity contained in heavy oil in a ship before the corresponding heavy oil is supplied to a purifier from a bunker tank. The heavy oil sludge reduction system for a ship according to the present invention reduces sludge of heavy oil stored in a sedimentation tank in a ship, and comprises: a pump to pump the heavy oil stored in the sedimentation tank to circulate the heavy oil; and a crusher to crush the heavy oil pumped and circulated by the pump into fine particles to homogenize the heavy oil stored in the sedimentation tank. According to the present invention, before supplying the heavy oil from the sedimentation tank to a purifier, the heavy oil from the corresponding sedimentation tank is crushed or sprayed while being crushed to repeatedly circulate the heavy oil to homogenize the heavy oil to reduce sludge creation in the sedimentation tank and the purifier to extend a sludge removing frequency and reduce sludge removing expenses, and mix the heavy oil with different bunker oil to reduce fuel expenses. |
