The specific surface area of the nickel cobalt complex hydroxide determined by the nitrogen adsorption BET method is 1.0-10.0 m/g, and the carbon content of the nickel cobalt complex hydroxide determined by high-frequency combustion infrared detection is lower than or equal to 0.1 mass%.
