<p>A power transmission device (100) comprising: a power transmission antenna (101) having a power transmission surface that runs along the ground and faces, across a space, a power reception surface of a power reception antenna (201) provided in a power reception device (200); and a shielding section (110) capable of switching alternately between a first state in which the power transmission surface is covered, and a second state in which the upper section of the power transmission surface is opened, and the periphery of the power transmission antenna is covered when viewed in a plane from above the power transmission antenna. The shielding section also removes foreign objects present between the power transmission antenna and the power reception antenna, during the process of switching from the first state to the second state.</p> |
