<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a battery module without using a case housing a battery cell. <P>SOLUTION: The battery module comprises a first battery cell 2, a second battery cell 2, bus bars 11 coupling an electrode terminal 10a, 10b of the first battery cell and an electrode terminal 10b, 10a of the second battery cell 2, a first coupling member 3 (or 4, 5) holding the first battery cell 2, and a second coupling member 4 (or 5, 3) holding the second battery cell 2.
