<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize contact pressure on a developer carrier with respect to non-magnetic one-component developer and stably regulate a developer layer on the developer carrier regardless of characteristic changes of the developer due to deterioration of the developer. <P>SOLUTION: A layer regulation member 10 includes: a plate-like member 11 which is supported on the side of a developer container 3 and having a protruding part 12 extended from a support section 11a, in a direction opposite the developer conveyance direction of a developer carrier 4, arranged in pressure contact with the developer carrier 4 in an elastically deformed state, and protruding more than a contact portion 11b with the developer carrier 4; and a blocking part 13 having a slope 14 which is formed to protrude so as to leave all or a part of the protruding part 12 on a surface opposite the contact surface between the plate-like member 11 and the developer carrier 4, and inclined at an angleθof 90 degrees or more with respect to the protruding part 12, to block the developer G on the protruding part 12 by means of the slope 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
