1. A composition comprising:
an effective antimicrobial amount of surfactant peroxycarboxylic acid, wherein the surfactant peroxycarboxylic acid comprises anionic surfactant peroxycarboxylic acid, amphoteric surfactant peroxycarboxylic acid, zwitterionic surfactant peroxycarboxylic acid, or mixture thereof; wherein the surfactant peroxycarboxylic acid comprises one or more of an alkyl carboxylate moiety, an alkyl amide moiety, an alkyl sulfonate moiety, an ethoxylate moiety, or a propoxylate moiety; about 0.0005 to about 40 wt-% carboxylic acid surfactant; an oxidizing agent; and about 20 wt-% to 70 wt-% of an acidulant.
