FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, specifically to a method for the synthesis of 2- and 4-(1,3,5-dithiazinan-5-yl)-phenols of the general formula. The method involves a reaction between o- or n-aminophenol and 1,3,5-trithiane over ferric chloride hexahydrate as a catalyst [FeCl*6HO], the molar ratio of o-, n-aminophenol : 1,3,5-trithiane : FeCl*6HO = 10:(10-12):(0.3-0.7), in argon atmosphere, acetonitrile as a solvent at the temperature of 50-70°C and atmospheric pressure, the reaction duration is 5-7 hours.EFFECT: improved method for the synthesis of 2- and 4-(1,3,5-dithiazinan-5-yl)-phenols enables to reduce the process toxicity.1 tbl, 1 ex |
