The present invention relates to an upper limb assist device. The upper limb assist device comprises: an arm bending unit, an upper arm supporting unit, a forearm supporting unit, and a shoulder rotating unit. The arm bending unit includes: a first wire, which is fixed onto a forearm of a user, to allow a user to straighten out or to bend an arm toward a face in accordance with the motion of the first wire. The upper arm supporting unit is fixed between an upper arm and a side of the user to fixate a position of the arm of the user. The forearm supporting unit is fixed between the upper arm supporting unit and a forearm of the user to fixate a position of the forearm of the user. The shoulder rotating unit includes a second wire fixed onto the arm supporting unit to rotate the arm of the user toward a chest in accordance with the motion of the second wire. |
