LENS AND ILLUMINATION OPTICAL SYSTEM

A lens and an illumination optical system having the same are disclosed. The illumination optical system comprises: a substrate; a plurality of light sources disposed on the substrate; a single lens which is separated from the light sources, covers the light sources, and makes an illuminance distribution of light from the light sources uniform. The light passing through the lens generally has a uniform illuminance distribution.
