The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring an amount of accumulated dust in a filter, capable of measuring an amount of accumulated dust in a filter by using infrared rays. The apparatus for measuring an amount of accumulated dust in a filter includes the filter which filters the dust in the air flowing in, an infrared ray generator which outputs the infrared rays to the filter by operating by a preset control signal inputted from the outside, an infrared ray receiver which outputs a preset signal by receiving the infrared rays passing through the filter, and a control unit which outputs the preset control signal to the infrared ray generator by an accumulated dust measurement signal inputted from the outside and determines the replacement time of the filter by receiving the preset signal outputted from the infrared ray receiver. Therefore, a user can grasp the accurate replacement time of the filter. |
