Object information derived from object images

Search terms are derived automatically from images captured by a camera equipped cell phone, PDA, or other image capturing device, submitted to a search engine to obtain information of interest, and at least a portion of the resulting information is transmitted back locally to, or nearby, the device that captured the image.

a portable device sensor configured to capture a digital representation of a gesture; and a portable recognition device coupled with the portable device sensor and configured to:
acquire the digital representation of the gesture from the portable device sensor;recognize the gesture as a target object from the digital representation;translate target object information associated with the target object into machine understandable data associated with the gesture; andinput the machine understandable data, via an address, into a second device.
