<p>A system for fastening a rail on a substrate, with a base plate. A fastening element connects the base plate to the substrate. A tensioning element holds down the rail on the base plate. A non-circular cross-section opening in the base plate emanates from an upper side associated with the rail, leading to an underside associated with the substrate. The tensioning element is slid into the opening from the underside and has a shank, a head with a diameter larger than that of the shank, and a transition portion between the head and shank with a cross-sectional shape and dimensions adapted to the shape and dimensions of the opening. When the transition portion is positioned into the opening, it is prevented from rotating. A spring element is braced against the base plate with the tensioning element to exert a resilient holding-down force onto the rail foot.</p> |
