A lighting apparatus is provided that, while suppressing an increase in size, can change the illuminating direction. The lighting apparatus has: a laser generator which emits laser light; a light emitting member which is irradiated with the laser light emitted from the laser generator to emit light; an irradiated position changer which moves and thereafter stops an irradiated position at which the light emitting member is irradiated with the laser light; and a light projecting member which projects the light emitted from the light emitting member.

1. A lighting apparatus comprising:
a plurality of laser generators which emit laser light; a light emitting member which is positioned so as to be irradiated with the laser light emitted from the plurality of laser generators and emits light upon irradiation by the laser light; and a light projecting member which projects the light emitted from the light emitting member, wherein the laser generators are configured to irradiate respective portions of the light emitting member that are not identical to each other, an optical path of laser light emitted from each of the laser generators not being changed, and on and off states of the laser generators at a given time are set separately from each other.
