The present invention relates to a rotary joint for a drum-type ice machine installed in an ice machine of a drum structure to supply and discharge a refrigerant into a drum rotating in the ice machine to be exposed outside the drum to easily check water leakage, and to facilitate maintenance and repair. According to the present invention, the rotary joint for a drum-type ice machine comprises: a refrigerant injection pipe installed inside a drum which rotates, and into which a refrigerant is injected; and a refrigerant intake pipe installed inside the refrigerant injection pipe in a fixated condition to discharge the refrigerant in the drum to circulate the refrigerant. The rotary joint for a drum-type ice machine further comprises: a shaft disposed outside the refrigerant injection pipe, and screwed and mounted on a support shaft pipe formed on one side of the drum supported by a bearing; a body mounted on the shaft via the bearing; a head mounted on a side of the body, provided with a screw hole wherein an injection pipe supplying refrigerant into the refrigerant injection pipe is mounted; a seal member disposed between the body and the head to maintain watertightness; an O-ring mounted between a front end of the refrigerant injection pipe and the head to maintain watertightness; a nipple fixing pipe fixated by a fixing nut while being mounted on the refrigerant intake pipe exposed to the front end of the refrigerant injection pipe and mounted on the head in a watertight manner by the O-ring; and a nipple mounted on the nipple fixing pipe. |
