FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel arylalkyl esters of 4-aminopicolinic acids of formula IB, having herbicidal activity, and can be used for weed control. In formula IB:X is H or F; Y is phenyl, substituted with 1-4 substitutes independently selected from halogen, C-Ccycloalkyl, C-Calkoxy, C-Chaloalkyl, C-Chaloalkoxy; Z is halogen; Rand Ris H; Ris an arylalkyl, selected from naphthyl-(C)alkyl or phenyl-(C)alkyl, which can be unsubstituted or substituted with 1-2 substitutes, independently selected from halogen, nitro, cyano, C-Calkyl, C-Calkoxy, halogenated C-Calkyl, halogenated C-Calkoxy, C-Calkylthio, C(O)OC-Calkyl, or where two adjacent substitutes taken together are -O(CH)O- or -O(CH)-, where n=1 or 2.EFFECT: compounds have selective action and are particularly applicable, at the post-germination phase, to control types which are usually encountered in systems for growing rice, wheat or fodder plants.9 cl, 28 tbl, 17 ex |
