Disclosed are host terminal apparatus and method for data communications with a device apparatus. The data communications method of a host terminal apparatus according to the present invention comprises the steps of: performing data communications with a device apparatus in a first communications method via a communications interface; calculating a data transmission speed while performing communications with the device apparatus in the first communications method; and if the calculated transmission speed is equal to or greater than a threshold speed, performing data communications with the device apparatus in the first communications method and a second communications method different from the first communications method via the communications interface. Accordingly, performance with respect to the transmission speed in accordance with data transmission and reception between the host terminal apparatus and the device apparatus can be enhanced. |
