<p>The device (1) has a component (3) e.g. spring unit (6) such as spiral spring, attached to a moving object and another component (4) e.g. force measuring device (7), which is connected with the spring unit for converting a movement and/or displacement of the moving object into an electric signal. An evaluating device (5) converts the electric signal into movement and/or position information. The spring unit connects the moving object with the force measuring device, which outputs an electric signal corresponding to force exerted on the spring unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining a distance covered by a moving object.</p> |
