According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for separation control of a high frequency and an ultra-high frequency power variation in an energy storage system comprises: a frequency separation unit to separate power supplied from electric power system through a power conversion system into power containing high frequency power variation and power containing ultra-high frequency power variation to output the separated power; a battery unit which is charged by the power containing the high frequency power variation outputted from the frequency separation unit; and an electric load to consume and remove the power containing ultra-high frequency power variation outputted from the frequency separation unit. If a power variation of ultra-high frequency is generated by a rapid load change and supplied to the energy storage system, the power containing the ultra-high frequency power variation is separated and removed to prevent shortening of battery life, thereby extending the battery life. |
