The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a mat for children which is placed on the floor of a house or a play room. The mat is made of eco-friendly materials to be harmless to a human body and children, is moved by adults in an easy manner, and can prevent noise between floors as the thickness of the mat can be adjusted as desired. The method for manufacturing a mat for children includes the steps of: supplying a polyurethane fabric (52) and a transfer film (58), which are separated from each other, to a space between a silicon roller (56) and a cooling roller (54); supplying molten thermal polyurethane (TPU) (57) to the space between the polyurethane fabric (52) and the transfer film (58); forming a TPU skin layer (55) by cooling the TPU (57), supplied to the space between the polyurethane fabric (52) and the transfer film (58), with the cooling roller (54); and transferring a picture or a pattern of the transfer film (58) to the TPU skin layer (55).
