CONNECTING APPARATUS FOR CREATING A CONNECTION BETWEEN A MEASURING INSTRUMENT/VALVE BLOCK AND A PIPELINE

A connecting apparatus for creating a connection between a measuring instrument or valve block and a pipeline is described. The apparatus includes a first connecting device providing a direct/indirect sealing connection to the pipeline or to a metering orifice device; a second connecting device for the direct/indirect sealing connection to the measuring instrument/valve block where the connecting devices are interconnected with sealing effect. Provision is made for a connecting unit, which is connected to the connecting devices, for the sealing connection of the connecting devices. The connecting unit is designed so that the sealing connection can be created solely by rotation of the connecting unit without rotation of the connecting units.
