Provided is a system for generating a clock for reading data by receiving an applied strobe signal, from among data storage systems for storing data. The system can have a distorted first clock edge part of a strobe signal applied after a long time of pause. In an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is a method for forcibly boosting a first clock edge part of the strobe signal and boosting off parts from a second clock edge part of the strobe signal. According to the method of the present invention, data read performance is improved.
