A process for applying a surface agent on a component (3) made of a polymeric or elastomeric material, e.g. for applying layers of adhesive or primer on insulating rods of aluminium thermal break doors/windows, or for applying a layer of reflecting powder coating on the parabolic dishes of vehicle lights, comprises a step of producing the component (3) made of a polymeric material by melting and subsequent solidification with polymerization of a polymeric material, carried out in a production unit (30); and a step of applying the surface agent on at least one surface (15) of the component (3); the application of the surface agent is carried out directly at the exit of the production unit (30), using the residual heat of the production step of the component (3) to promote adhesion of the surface agent to the surface (15) of the component (3). |
