Disclosed is a battery module which can prevent gas generated by a secondary battery from flowing into a flow path for cooling and a duct connected to the same. According to the present invention, the battery module comprises: multiple pouch-type secondary batteries; a first frame which comprises: a top cooling plate and a bottom cooling plate for forming a cooling flow path in between as placed to be separated from each other by certain distance in a vertical direction, and which accommodates the pouch-type secondary batteries on one or more positions from the top of the top cooling plate and the bottom of the bottom cooling plate; and a second frame which comprises a top cooling plate and a bottom cooling plate, as formed in the same shape as that of the first frame, and which accommodates the pouch-type secondary batteries and forms a venting flow path in between the same and the first frame by being piled up on the top of the first frame.
