PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for a hand held appliance, in particular a hair care appliance such as a hot styling brush, with improved usability.SOLUTION: An attachment for a hand held appliance comprises a body having: a first wall; a second wall; and a slot. The slot is defined on a first side by a surface of the first wall and on a second side by a surface of the second wall. The first wall may be generally tubular. The surface of the second wall may be substantially linear. The second wall may extend out from the first wall. The second wall is moveable relatively to the first wall. The second wall is rotatable relatively to the first wall. The second wall may be generally triangular. The second wall may have a first indexed position defining a first slot position. The second wall may have a second indexed position defining a second slot position. An indexed position may be defined by a detent mechanism. |
