PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cartridge capable of being positioned with respect to a cartridge attachment section with a simple configuration while allowing an increase of a tape printer in size to be suppressed and the like.SOLUTION: A tape cartridge 100 is detachably attached to a tape printer 1 provided with a closing lid 7 opening and closing a cartridge attachment section 5 attached with the tape cartridge 100. The tape cartridge 100 comprises: a knob portion 182 being provided at a front side being a closing lid 7 side and being configured in a movable manner between a gripping position and a non-gripping position; and a bias section 284 biasing the knob portion 182 toward the gripping position. The knob portion 182 is pressed by a pressing section 85 provided on the closing lid 7 in a close state of the closing lid 7, and the bias section 284 is displaced so as to resist pressing force of the pressing section 85 via the knob portion 182.
