PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric motor capable of reducing occurrence of non-uniformity in driving force applied to a body to be driven due to a displacement direction.SOLUTION: A piezoelectric motor 1 comprises: a body to be driven 5 having a side surface 52; and a vibration body 2 having a contact portion 26 brought into contact with the side surface 52 of the body to be driven 5 and a piezoelectric element provided at an opposite side of the contact portion 26 to the body to be driven 5, vibrating by applying voltage to the piezoelectric element and displacing the body to be driven 5 by repeatedly applying force to the body to be driven 5. As viewed in a plan view, an angle &thetas; between a central axis of the vibration body 2 and a normal line at a contact point X0 of the side surface 52 of the body to be driven 5 where the contact portion 26 is brought into contact therewith in a non-drive state where the voltage is not applied thereto satisfies relation of 0°<&thetas;<30°. |
