PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter and a receiver that contribute to realization of the postal rule in trading where offers are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.SOLUTION: The electronic trading system includes a transmission terminal 34 and an electronic commerce server 35, the transmission terminal 34 having a time source 36 in synchronization with Coordinated Universal Time, a transmitter/receiver 43 connected to networks 32 and 33, and a microcomputer 41 generating and outputting to the transmitter/receiver 43 time information of the time source 36 and order signals containing intention information indicative of intentions of trades, and the electronic commerce server 35 having a time source 45 in phase-synchronization with Coordinated Universal Time, an interface 51 connected to the network 32, and a control unit 47 which receives the order signals in a specified period of time in accordance with the time of the time source 45 and ranks the order signals based on the transmission times contained in the order signals. |
