<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum leak detection method and a vacuum leak detector of a NaS battery which allow for easy and reliable vacuum leak of a module battery, without measuring by means of a vacuum measuring device together with a module container, and without having to go to the actual place.SOLUTION: A vacuum leak detection method of a NaS battery 100 for detecting vacuum leak of a module container (insulating container of module batteries 110a-110e) where the module battery of a NaS battery is vacuum sealed measures the temperature of a module battery during charge and discharge, calculates the rate of change of the temperature thus measured for the time, and determines that vacuum leak is occurring if the rate of change of the temperature during discharge is smaller than a first predetermined value, or if the rate of change of the temperature during charge is larger than a second predetermined value.</p> |
