<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jack which can downsize a portable device, and does not increase the number of components.SOLUTION: A jack JC has a plug storing chamber 110 ranging to a plug insertion port 100, and is equipped with a terminal space for storing a terminal 20 electrically and mechanically connecting with a plug inside. The plug insertion port 100 is provided on a plug insertion hole which has an inclined portion along a side surface shape of a case of a portable device in a thickness direction. The plug insertion surface continues to a flat lower surface 13 to which a circuit substrate connects, a flat upper surface 12 contacting with the case of the portable device, and right and left side surfaces 15 and 14. An opening portion 160 ranging to the terminal space 130 is provided on the upper surface 12, and a slit ranging to the terminal space 130 is provided on the lower surface 13. The terminal 20 is equipped with a fixed portion 200 for assembling to the jack JC, a curved portion extending upward from the fixed portion, and a contacting portion 230 facing the slit at a lower part of the fixed portion 200. The terminal 20 is assembled to the terminal space 130 from the upper surface 12 side.</p> |
